Inspired Travel: What We Do and Why

We believe that a vacation should be relaxing and fun.
Of course.

But, at its best, a holiday also wakes you up to new possibilities and expands your view of the world in a way that helps you grow as a person. We call this Inspired Travel.

Letting yourself stop the workaday worry, relax, and soak in your travel experience refreshes your body and your perspective. At its most powerful, this renewal leads to transformative change.

“Travel and change of pace impart new vigor to the mind.”

Transcendence requires a bit of sensible groundwork first.

And when it comes to a travel holiday, what’s more practical than booking your most desired activities and restaurant reservations in advance, online and in one place?

Our streamlined marketplace of St. John activities and restaurants makes planning and booking your itinerary simple and stress-free so you have more time to focus on the important stuff before and during your vacation. (Even better, this service costs nothing more than what you’d already pay.)

Important Stuff = loved ones, being outside, new experiences, being healthy, having fun
Not Important Stuff = phone tag, long web searches, last-minute anxiety, hunting for cell service

Allow the magic of St. John to capture your full attention. Paradise Found will take care of the details.

Our Founder

Randle Elmore left the flatlands of Texas for the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean in 1991. He lived and worked at Maho Bay Camps, where he crewed on a day-sail charter boat.

Randle enjoyed interacting with guests, helping them to create their ideal vacation. This appreciation has led to a twenty-plus year career in hospitality.

Taking a break from idyllic St. John, Randle spent six years in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where he managed front office operations for a five-star hotel that caters to the rich and famous.

He also traveled all over the Atlantic and Caribbean working on private yachts, eventually returning to St. John in 2001 to help build and manage a full-service luxury villa.

Randle began Paradise Found as a labor of love, stemming from the frustration of managing St. John visitor info and concierge services for his guests.

Whether having to find last-minute bookings, maintain schedules, or hunt down accurate information from several websites, he knew there was a better way.

And so he took it upon himself to make it happen.
